Host Your Event
Pick this if the event lives on VoteAfrika. You decide who can be nominated, approve the nominees who make the ballot, set what a vote costs, and watch the results come in. Nominations and voting are both optional, so an awards night and a pageant can each use only the parts they need.
Tickets are available here too, so you can run voting and door sales together.
Sell Tickets
Pick this if the event already exists and you only need ticketing. You add your event details once so buyers know what they are paying for, then create your ticket types and start selling. There is no nomination or voting to set up.
Every ticket carries a QR code, and you scan it at the entrance to check people in.

Add your event and turn on what you need. Nominations and voting are optional, so a ticket-only event skips them entirely.
Share the link
Your event gets its own page. People nominate, vote or buy tickets from their phone, and pay by card, transfer or USSD.
Get paid
Payments are confirmed with the provider before anything counts. Your balance updates as they clear, and you withdraw to your bank.

Do I have to run voting to sell tickets?
No. You add your event so buyers can see what they are paying for, then set up your tickets. Nominations and voting stay switched off unless you turn them on.
Can I add ticket sales to an event that is already running?
Yes. Open the event in your dashboard and add ticket types whenever you are ready. Voting carries on as normal.
Who decides which nominees appear on the ballot?
You do. The public can suggest nominees while nominations are open, but each one waits for your review. Nobody appears on the ballot until you approve them.
When do I get paid?
Vote and ticket payments are confirmed with the payment provider and added to your balance. You request a withdrawal from your dashboard and it is paid to the bank account on your profile.
How do people pay?
Payments are handled by Paystack, so voters and ticket buyers can pay by card, bank transfer or USSD without leaving your event page.
